White Sands is a stunning thatched house literally on the beach in Kommetjie, opposite the famous surfing spot called “Sunset Reef”. Watch the whales, seals, kitesurfers and surfers from the terrace, where you can also see Hout Bay, Chapman’s Peak and Table Mountain, or entertain on the large patio downstairs with its built in barbeque.

White Sands also offers a lovely private swimming pool surrounded by garden, absolutely ideal for families with children. Frolic in the waves, build sand castles, and then jump into your pool to wash off the beach sand; or alternatively simply lounge next to the pool and soak up the Cape Town sunshine – this location is unbeatable.

White Sands has a huge 64 square metre living room which opens out onto the covered patio with full outdoor dining facilities and sea views – ideal for summer entertaining. The living area is delightful cool and spacious, with a double storey vaulted thatched ceiling. The lounge, kitchen and dining areas are all open plan.
